Setting up charts is straightforward, and every element of the CQG chart can be modified to suit your needs. You can set the modification for the current chart, all charts on the page, all charts on all pages, or all new charts.
CQG is designed to provide maximum flexibility that can fit any trader's style. CQG also makes it easy to get what you want by using the toolbar menu or by clicking on a window, and it responds instantly to produce what you require.
Charting Flexibility
- If you have a daily chart and want a different time frame chart, or a different type of chart, click and you have it.
- If you want to add a study to a chart, click and it's there. Or you can move from study to study, or apply the same study to all charts you create.
- If you want to see how a particular monthly contract fared in the past, you can call up a historical chart.
- If you want to make a note on a chart, you can add text easily, or you can mark bars that meet certain conditions.
- If you want to enter an order directly from a chart, you can do that without switching from one screen or application to another.
