Resolving CQG Login Issues for Customers with AMD Dual-Core Processors
Customers who use computers with AMD dual-core processors may experience delays logging on to CQG Integrated Client and CQG Trader. The processors include:
- AMD Opteron™
- AMD Athlon™ 64 X2
- AMD Athlon 64 FX
- AMD Turion 64 X2
To resolve this issue, please download the AMD processer driver. If login problems persist, then download the AMD Dual-Core Optimizer.

Setting Memory Space Usage in CQG IC Version 8.2
Memory Space Usage specifies a maximum memory amount that CQG IC can use. When this limit is reached, CQG IC will flush any cached data that is currently not in use. CQG IC is not restricted in any way by this value; it simply tells the system at what point unused data can be removed from memory.
To set the memory space usage in CQG IC version 8.2:
- Click either the Setup or the System button, and then click System Preferences.
- Click the Limits tab.
- On the Memory Space Usage window, set the desired amount of memory space usage. You can allocate up to 2 GB RAM.
